Your Treasure Map should also depict what you love and what you're passionate about. The finished product serves as a map you can literally follow, helping you to stay on track with embracing and manifesting your own personal treasure: a vibrant, fulfilled, beautiful life.
Pictured: A Treasure Map I made in 2009. I'm proud to share that every goal, desire or personal trait depicted on that treasure map was attained, satisfied or amplified. I did good in 2009. Looking for a strong finish to 2010 and a powerful 2011.
Today, or as soon as you can, gather all the materials you'll need: a poster board, an old magazine or two you don't mind cutting up, scissors, a glue stick, tools to color with: colored pencils (my favorite), crayons or markers. A pen or pencil will do if you've got none of the aforementioned. You will also need a journal or notebook.
I suggest you set the stage for creating your Treasure Map. Wear comfortable clothing, light a candle, perhaps a stick of incense. Settle down into quiet space; be sure you won't be interrupted.
Go through your magazine(s) and cut out pictures, words or phrases that speak to you. Again, your goal is to depict who you are, what you love, what you want, where you're headed. The pictures and words/phrases you choose should illuminate your goals and desires, too. So it's encouraged to portray what you intend to create or manifest.
Write or paste on words, intentions, incantations, desires. Place or hang your finished Treasure Map in a prominent location. Look at it as often as you wish, as often as you can. Let it feed, inspire and inform you. When you're ready, get your journal out and make a list of exactly what you know you need to do in order to experience, embrace, amplify or create your treasure.
